I think it costs less to pay the 6 bucks at the pizza shop.

Sure, I could go to the supermarket and get all the ingredients and probably make 6-8 salads and the per salad cost is less, but a lot of the stuff will go bad.

Plus at the shop, I get the roll with butter and house dressing. It's a bargain.

I just wanted to post some inane ramble. While I enjoy my greek salad.

on salads

Usually try to have salad every day if not a bowl of soupage.

Either way at 6 bucks a pop x 7 days a week now were talkin 42 a week or 180/mth or 2,190/yr salad tab.

Bottled ranch from grocery just not the same as ranch from restaurant. Never had salad from pizza joint.

Beets are gross.

Fvck, whatever.

It all depends.

Thanks.

Good question. But why pay $6? It's been a year or so but I believe McDonalds has a a variety of salads, even some with chicken, for around $4.

Eating out makes economical sense for the single folk. I can buy a decent full dinner for about $6 at a food place. No way I can make that same meal at home for less than six bucks after taking into consideration time, capitol costs, clean-up, and spoilage.

One of the many great things about living in a US city is all of the various food services. This a great country to live in.
